As the temperature is high in summer, many areas will be in the state of electricity tension. So many users are starting to use diesel generators as standby power.

1. We must conduct a comprehensive inspection of the diesel generator set, replacement or cleaning of the generator set’s oil filters, diesel filters and air filters, replacement of the oil and antifreeze in the generator cylinder.
2. Before operating please check if the start-up battery voltage is normal. It’s impossible to start the diesel generator set if battery is insufficient.
3. Check and make sure that the ventilation of generator room is good, cool the generator room if allowed. Because the diesel generator set will produce a lot of heat when in use, control temperature of generator room can ensure that the generator set will not appear high water temperature, low oil pressure or other accidents.
4. Make proper use of cooling system. The cooling system should be used with anti-corrosion, boiling, antifreeze and waterproof fouling of high-quality coolant.
5. Avoid the engine working too long under heavy loading. When the engine is under heavy loading, the coolant temperature will be too high which cause “boiling” to engine.
Therefore, when the diesel generator set needs high power operation, it’s necessary to replace low gear in time, in order to reduce engine load and prevent the engine from “boiling”.
